Values and Vision:
The Bostleman Story
Like many others, Fred Bostleman came home from World War II determined to build a better future.
The "something extra" that he brought to his modest construction business in 1946 was his guiding credo: do the job right and others will follow.
Through three generations of family leadership, the enterprise that has become the Bostleman family of companies has grown by living that example.
Going Where Our Customers Need Us...
Through the 1950's and 1960's, we prospered as a general contractor involved in increasingly larger and more-demanding projects.
Our values served well, and laid the foundation for a new era when Dick Bostleman joined his dad in the company in 1969.
Dick saw the opportunity to grow by going where our customers needed us. Building repeat business relationships with leading national chains such as Chi-Chi's, Wal-Mart and more, we literally followed them around the country, providing construction management services for retail, food service and other companies on a time-after-time basis.
This focus made us one of America's leading builders of retail square footage...and a true partner to valued clients we continue to serve to this day. And, it formed the basis for new dimensions in what we do to build value.
Continuity That Means Strength and Innovation...
By the time Bill Bostleman joined his father, Dick, as the third generation of family business leadership, a new era was unfolding.
Working as a team, we've accelerated our growth as innovative developers/builders of state-of-the-art office parks, corporate headquarters and major institutional installations.
All this complements our ongoing commercial development portfolio, and lets us bring into play a broad range of expert resources in developing, financing and building successful projects.
And our continuity of experienced leadership has allowed us to continue growing our business after the 1998 death of Dick Bostleman in a tragic accident.
Bostleman Today, and Tomorrow...
Today, we manage over $100 million of construction per year.
We have come a very long way from 1946, but we hold fast to the Core Values that have helped us build relationships that endure. And we see the future as truly bright...with new technology, renewed commitment and experienced team members in place to provide superior value for our clients.
Do the job right. That's our legacy.
A Family of Companies...and Ideas.
