Red Herman awarded AGC/CCC’s
"Safety Professional of the Year in 2004"

Bostleman Corporation’s own Red Herman was presented with the “Safety Professional of the Year” award for 2004 from the Associated General Contractors of Northwest Ohio. Red was selected by his peers to receive the award for his contributions to the safety committee, construction industry, participation, networking, positive safety influence, and for going above and beyond in his dedication to the construction industry.

The AGC/CCC Safety Excellence Awards are presented to contractor members in Northwest Ohio for worker injury reduction and overall improvement of Workers Compensation statistics, as well as innovative ideas for promoting safety, increasing training, and reducing accidents throughout their company. The awards were presented at the AGC of Northwest Ohio’s member banquet on January 11th.

Also recognized at January’s banquet were Safety Excellence award winners McNerney and Son, Inc., receiving the award for a General Contractor for less than 100,000 work hours; Gardner Corporation, awarded as the Specialty Contractor for less than 100,000 work hours; and The Spieker Company, which was selected as the General Contractor for 100,000 to 400,000 work hours.

Each award winner shows a dedication to the construction industry and additional involvement that deserves recognition from the contractor associations. The AGC/CCC extended its congratulations to all the award winners.
